Actually, i find it quite ironic.. i mean, just because it's national day and we are NATIONAL junior college, we had to celebrate the celebration. Seriously, it was like a "better-come-or-else" situation. we cannot NOT go because or else our dear teacher would make us write a i supposed 1000 words reflection on what Singapore means to me.. and maybe even how patriotic we feel about Singapore..
i mean.. i dont mind like the whole Singapore National Day thing, and i respect it for what it is.. but making it compulsory (with her saying "yes even the foreign scholars are to come for the celebration") even when it was during our study break is cruel. I feel like i've wasted 4 hours.. and its in the morning for goodness sake.. i wasted 1 hr travelling to school, had to sit down at the parade square along with the rest of the school.. on a slightly wet ground, watching some performance which i dont get what's the meaning other than thinking they look pretty stupid doing all those stuff.. and the teachers sitting at the back of the parade square (ON CHAIRS!!) watching them making fool out of themselves... for 2 HOURS!!! then waste another hour to get home etc.. right.. and the unity within the House is sooo apparent..
as the performance continues, you can really see the people literally missing from around you.. right, smart Benny and LC disappear even before we had to sit on the floor.. apparently they left their bags somewhere and went there to study i guess >.> then, smart TI set his dental appointment early in the morning to run away from having to endure the performances.. some smart people brought along laptop.. yea.. LAPTOP!!! and some books.. some went away to canteen buying bubble tea before coming back sit at some place and basically having a mini picnic.. me.. i think i was somewhere lost in the world of mp3 >.> pathetic canteen.. only 1 measly stall is open.. the bubble tea stall... smart uncle.. haha
ah well.. as the no of people around me is getting more and more sparse (reminds you of deforestation??? haha) actualy alot of bubbles are flying around.. people are competing who can blow the largest bubbles xD childish i know.. but still, fun xD i mean better than watching some performance that you think is stupid and dont understand the link right.. (well anyway that's what i think)
okay basically what worth mentioning yst was actually the event after the celebration xD went to JE library with KM and GY aft having lunch at Mac.. omg.. we waited 1 hr or so for the lunch thing to start.. and only waste 1/2 hr to eat.. talk about disproportion >.> anyway yea study for a while.. then leave home to bathe, change slippers and yupp buy some snacks.. i know they are not gg to be too full to eat them anyway haha.. bought the jewel biscuits.. the kind that we ate when we were young xD it was delish okay.. lol.. but on second thought i shld have bought a bigger packet..
anyway the bbq at westcoast was to celebrate the July and Aug babies bdae(: and today is Ian's Bdae!! wohoo.. so cool.. sharing same bdae as the national day xD happy bdae aniwae((:
the bbq was fun xDD but the volley game was so much more fun xD of cuz when ald start spiking, duck for cover xD i got hit on the face aft the ball rebounded >> haha.. but, yeap.. i hope i wont get stupid hahahahahha... if i am... waa.. ting have to sponsor my living le xD jkjk
aniwae, the chicken was nice xD nice job ppl xD cuz i sux at the fanning for the charcoal thingy... and yupp cant get too close to the fire.. oh there was this cute doggie.. i think its name was noni xDD cute doggie... and it was so smalltoo!!! haha
oh then went home super late.. like erm, 1030/ 1100 lidat late.. but, yea i catch the mrt xD thanks ppl for pei-ing me and droppin me off at mrt instead of me having to wait for bus then take mrt home, which is gonna be super long.. ((: appreciate it ((:
anyway was super tired.. this morning woke up.. arms hurts.. i think pulled a muscle or wad.. i guess i havent been playing vball for too long? ah well.. and i havent touch my hw today either!! oh dearrrr... oh oh.. the new show on C5, the "First Class" and "Calefare" was damn funny.. i like the former one better tho xD its cool really.. haha.. makes you think of the chers you have in school. see who fits which description xD ah well i guess i shall stop here.. i've been typing alot >.>
